The River Guide is the perfect hat to help protect you on your day on the river, featuring vented grommets for breathability. This waterproof oilskin outback hat will protect you from the elements no matter your adventures take you; oilskin means that your head and the hat will stay dry as the water just runs off of the fabric. The dry-zone quick-drying elastic sweatband moves moisture away from the skin to its reverse side, leaving you with a cool head. Tailored with a UPF 50-rated fabric and wide brims, this durable hat blocks and shields your head from harmful UV rays for excellent protection against prolonged sun exposure. This breathable hat incorporates a chin cord to keep your hat in place during windy days.

Outback's Oilskin hats are the perfect addition to the range of core oilskin jackets and vests. Made in a diverse range of colors and styles, there is something to protect every head from Mother Nature's harsh elements. Many hats include features such as chin cords, hidden security pockets, and shapeable brims.
Outback's Tassy Crusher Hats are made from premium Australian Wool. From the diehard cowboy to the chic city slicker, this range of hats will keep your customers smiling. With a great range of colors and beautifully paired bands, this range of hats also has reinforced wire in the brim or brim lock. Wear them, crush them, and love them for years to come!
To clean your Outback hat, brush it counter-clockwise, with the crown facing you, using a soft brush or damp sponge. If your hat gets wet, place it on its crown and let it dry naturally and slowly. Artificial heat or direct sunlight may shrink your hat.
Our sweatbands transfer moisture away from the skin to the quick-drying reverse side of the fabric, allowing your head to stay cooler in warm weather and warmer and drier in the cold.
To measure for size, start with a soft tape measure at the center of the forehead just above the eyebrows and the ears, and continue around the head, returning to the center. In-between sizes should opt for a larger size. It should feel snug enough not to be easily blown or knocked off, but not painfully tight. Heads come in a variety of shapes and sizes, so try on a few different styles and sizes to find what's best.
We offer two types of chin cords to keep hats in place during windy conditions or when riding fast: one type goes just under the chin with an adjustable slide, and some of our Outback hats feature two-part wind straps that secure under the chin and behind the head.
